Alexiev Transcription Services is located near downtown Grand Rapids two blocks off the burgeoning medical services, education, and research district, the Medical Mile. This enables us to respond quickly and efficiently to our customers’ needs. However, thanks to the capabilities of digital transcription, we are simply a keystroke away from any client, regardless of location, providing a seamless “pick-up and delivery” virtually anywhere. So, whether you’re located in downtown Grand Rapids, New York, or the heart of Sydney, we can serve you efficiently and effectively. Just contact us!Transcription itself is evolving from what was almost exclusively working with cassettes (analogue recordings) to
now digital audio and working directly off the internet. As a result, Alexiev Transcription Services works with a variety of formats to fully service our customers’ needs, including (but not limited to) microcassettes, standard cassettes, DVDs, CDs or MP3 or WAV file downloads off the Internet.
The following describes a typical process:
Digital Audio Files: Your dictation is downloaded from the Internet and routed to our transcriptionists, who transcribe it within your
timeframe using industry templates or a template of your own design. Dictations are transcribed quickly and
accurately and proofed by the transcriptionist and a manager to ensure accuracy and adherence to your
document specifications. Once the documents pass our quality control check, they are sent to you via password-protected e-mail or uploaded to our secure FTP site to ensure privacy and adherence to HIPAA regulations where applicable.
Cassette Recordings: After receiving your tape, we follow the same process as above, but work directly with your cassette instead of
downloading off the Internet.
In support of our local economy, Alexiev Transcription Services is proud to use the services of experienced transcriptionists currently residing within the state of Michigan and elsewhere in the United States. As a matter of company policy, we do not outsource or subcontract to any offshore service provider or foreign firm.

All transcription projects are held completely confidential regardless of the nature of the assignment. The information you entrust with us, stays with us and is permanently deleted from our database after two weeks.
